Tytan

Tytan was formed in 1981 by former Angel Witch members, Kev Riddles and Dave Dufort, releasing their debut EP “Blind Men and Fools” in 1982. Following recording for the EP, Dave Dufort departed the band, to be replaced by former Judas Priest drummer, Les Binks. Guitarist Steve Mann, joined the band in time for the recording of their debut album, “Rough Justice”, which was recorded in 1982-1983.

Fast-forward to 2012, and the band were asked to reunite to perform at Keep It True XV Festival in Germany. The band returned with early members; Kev Riddles, Steve Gibbs and Steve Mann, being joined by vocalist Tom Barna, keyboardist Andrew Thompson, and Angel Witch drummer, Andrew Prestidge.

Following the festival appearance, the group continued to perform with a few changes behind the drums, until Gibbs and Mann both departed in late 2014. They were replaced by current guitarist, Dave Strange (Midnight Messiah). With a new-look line-up, Tytan are due to return to the studio shortly.
